Prishtina, August 23, 2024 – The Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, held a regular meeting with all the Chief Prosecutors of the country’s prosecution offices, representatives of the prosecution offices, and prosecutors from the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, with the participation of representatives from the US Embassy in Kosovo. During this meeting, Acting Chief Prosecutor Kelmendi discussed with the attendees the initiatives for the protection of legality.
In this regard, the Acting Chief State Prosecutor requested that the Chief Prosecutors ensure that the initiatives for the protection of legality by the case prosecutors are as professional as possible and in compliance with the standards for drafting criminal documents.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the exchange of information, especially in cases of public interest.
