Prishtina, February 11, 2021 – At the initiative of the Ambassadors of QUINT (United States of America, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy), Election Coordinator Laura Pula, and representatives of local law enforcement institutions, which are part of the memorandum for protection of the vote, held a meeting today where they discussed the early parliamentary elections which will be held on February 14, 2021.

During this meeting, the QUINT Ambassadors asked the representatives of local law enforcement institutions to engage and ensure a fair and secure election process.
Meanwhile, the election coordinator, Laura Pula, informed the QUINT Ambassadors, with the actions taken from 2013 until now by the State Prosecutor, where she emphasized that, every time the elections were held, they had the only role for the protection of the vote of the citizens.

Coordinator Pula, emphasized that for the elections of February 14, 2021, 88 custodial prosecutors have been appointed who will be located throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, accompanied by 40 supporting staff, where they will work in joint teams with investigators of the police.

She also said that the State Prosecutor together with the Kosovo Police will investigate and prosecute any allegations of fraud, bribery and other criminal violations related to the elections.

And finally, the coordinator Pula, has appealed to every citizen who has evidence of fraud, misconduct and irregularities of the electoral process to present and report them to the Kosovo Police and the State Prosecutor.
