Prishtina, February 25, 2025 – The Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, held a meeting with all the Chief Prosecutors of the country’s prosecutor offices and prosecutors from the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor.
During the professional discussions with the Chief Prosecutors, Acting Chief Prosecutor Kelmendi requested the implementation of mandatory guidelines issued by the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, aimed at unifying practices in the enforcement of the law.
Additionally, the Acting Chief State Prosecutor raised the issue of the performance of all prosecutors across the country for the previous year, requesting that greater attention be paid to enhancing the efficiency of prosecutors in line with the guiding standard to improve overall work results.
One of the topics discussed during the meeting was also the prioritization of criminal offenses against the environment, animals, plants, and cultural heritage objects, as well as the appointment of coordinating prosecutors for various fields across all the prosecutor offices in the country.
