Prishtina, February 6, 2025 – The Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, participated in the joint meeting between the Head of the Office for Recovery of Assets– Prosecutor of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Bahri Hyseni, and officials delegated by law enforcement institutions to this office. The meeting was also attended by international partners who have supported the office’s work since its establishment.
During this meeting, discussions were held on the annual work report for 2024, as well as the work plan for 2025 and the challenges faced by the Office for Recovery of Assets.
On this occasion, the Acting Chief State Prosecutor, while highly appreciating the work carried out by the Office for Recovery of Assetssince its operationalization, expressed his full support for the office in order to achieve shared successes.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, thanked international partners for their continuous support and assistance in various forms in the establishment and operationalization of the Office for Recovery of Assets. He also expressed his commitment to continuing cooperation with all other law enforcement institutions to ensure the efficient functioning of this office.
