Prishtina, March 18, 2025 – The Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, met with Mr. Derek Frame, Head of the Liaison Prosecutors’ Sector at the British Embassy in Tirana, the UK Liaison Prosecutor for the Western Balkans, and Mr. Enco Elezi, Criminal Justice Liaison Officer at the British Embassy in Tirana.
The discussions focused on effective cooperation in legal matters, including international legal assistance, extradition, and other topics related to criminal justice.
Both parties expressed their commitment to launching new cooperation initiatives, particularly in establishing a permanent official communication channel and fostering sustainable collaboration to strengthen the rule of law.
