Prishtina, July 17, 2024 – At the invitation of the National Coordinator for Combating Economic Crime, Mr. Shqipdon Fazliu, Acting Chief State Prosecutor Mr. Besim Kelmendi, along with members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), prosecutors from the Office of the CSP, members of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC), representatives from other law enforcement institutions, and the Resident Legal Counselor at the American Embassy in Kosovo, Mr. Erin Cox, visited the warehouse of the Agency for the Management of Seized or Confiscated Assets (AMSCA).
The purpose of this visit was to closely observe the work and operation of the AMSCA in administering assets that have been seized or confiscated due to their use in committing various criminal offenses or their acquisition through criminal activities.
During the visit, representatives of the respective institutions held joint discussions on the findings at the warehouse and the next steps to be taken regarding the seized and confiscated assets under the management of the AMSCA.
