Prishtina, July 12, 2024 – The Head of the Asset Recovery Office – the Prosecutor of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Bahri Hyseni, together with officials delegated by law enforcement institutions to this office, held a working meeting. This meeting was also attended by international partners who support the work of this office.
During this meeting, the finalization of the Standard Operating Procedures for the Asset Recovery Office was discussed. Specifically, the descriptions and responsibilities for each institution have been finalized, which arise from the Regulation on the Establishment of the Asset Recovery Office and the signing of the memorandum for the operationalization of this Office.
These standard operating procedures, which have been drafted in accordance with EU documents and standards for asset recovery, will be an aid for all prosecutors who need the assistance of the Asset Recovery Office.
