Prishtina, March 18, 2021 – The Office of the Chief State Prosecutor announces the opinion that after the actions for the reappointment of the new prosecutor in the case of the murder of Agonis Tetaj, as well as the request addressed to the trial panel not to proclaim the main trial as completed, instead to collect other necessary evidence, which will fully uncover the truth in this criminal-legal case, the Chief State Prosecutor, Aleksandër Lumezi, has requested from the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Gjilan, Arben Kadriu, as the competent authority to take all necessary actions under the law on disciplinary liabilities of judges and prosecutors against the prosecutor, Agron Uka.
The State Prosecutor remains committed to enforcing the law against each individual and illegal action regardless of his or her function and position.
