Pristina region

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina is one of the seven basic prosecutor’s offices in the Republic of Kosovo.

Has jurisdiction over all first instance matters, unless otherwise provided
differently by law and consists of three departments.

– General Department,
– Department for Juveniles,
– Department for Serious Crimes.

Within the Department of Serious Crimes, the Unit for Economic Crimes and Corruption operates, with a total of 6 engaged prosecutors, who deal with cases of criminal offenses against official corruption and official duties.

This prosecutor’s office has a total of 41 prosecutors together with the Chief Prosecutor.
In this prosecutor’s office, 134 support staff are currently engaged.

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina covers the territory of the municipality of Pristina, Fushë Kosova, Drenas, Graçanica, Lipjan, Obiliq and Podujeva.
