Mitrovica, September 2, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica announces that an indictment has been filed against an individual with the initials L.L., based on well-founded suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “Threat,” under Article 181, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
On August 28, around 10:00 PM in Mitrovica, the accused L.L. seriously threatened G.M., the owner of the Veriu.info portal, by threatening to cause harm due to the publication made by the portal regarding the arrest of L.L.’s father. The accused sent threatening messages, causing the victim emotional distress and fear.
With these actions, the accused has committed the criminal offense as charged. The State Prosecutor has proposed to the court that the accused be found guilty of the criminal offense and be sentenced according to the law.
