Mitrovica, April 11, 2025 – The Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica informs the public that it has taken a statement in the capacity of defendant from the person with initials S.S., a newly elected member of the Assembly of Kosovo, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Participation in a crowd committing a criminal offense and hooliganism,” under Article 404, paragraph 2 in connection with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The defendant S.S. is suspected that on June 16, 2023, during protests against the visit of former minister E.K. in Leposaviq, gave the order to attack journalists, thereby committing the criminal offense for which he was interviewed at the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica.
