Gjilan, July 19, 2024 – Rozelida Manastiri, Head of the General Department from the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan, along with inspectors from the Labor Inspectorate for the Gjilan region, visited the construction sector in the Gjilan region, specifically in the municipalities of Viti and Kamenica, as part of a joint operational plan.
The purpose of these visits was to inspect the implementation of preventive measures in work processes within the construction sector, aiming to mitigate risks associated with the activity.
During these visits, where violations were identified, the work was halted by the Labor Inspectors. The inspectors were informed that they must always enforce protective measures to avoid and prevent work-related hazards.
Such visits and meetings are regularly conducted between the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan and the Central Labor Inspectorate from the Gjilan region to coordinate joint actions.
