The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjilan has jurisdiction over all first degree cases, unless otherwise provided by law and consists of:

– General Department,
– Department for Minors.

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gjilan covers the territory of Gjilan, Kamenica, Ranilluk, Novobërda, Vitija, Kllokot, and Partesh.

The prosecution is led by the Chief Prosecutor and has fourteen prosecutors along with the Chief Prosecutor and forty-seven (47) support/administrative staff.
