Gjilan, August 5, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan detained nine (9) persons during the week from July 29 to August 4, 2024, on suspicion of committing various criminal offenses.
- – One (1) person was detained for the criminal offense of “Assault on an Official Person.”
- – One (1) person for the criminal offenses of “Threat” and “Unauthorized Ownership, Control, or Possession of Weapons.”
- – One (1) person for the criminal offense of “Fraud.”
- – Six (6) persons, in four separate cases, for the criminal offense of “Domestic Violence.”
The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan has submitted requests for the imposition of detention on remand for the detained persons to the Basic Court in Gjilan.
Additionally, during this week, a case of “Suspicious Death” was reported in the village of Shillova, for which the duty prosecutor ordered the body to be sent for autopsy.
