The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja has jurisdiction for the criminal prosecution of persons accused of a criminal offense, over all first degree cases, unless otherwise provided by law and consists of:

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja has territorial competence including the territory of the municipality of Peja, Deçan, Klina and Istog. The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Peja is led by the Chief Prosecutor, Agim Kurmehaj. Along with the chief prosecutor, there are fifteen (15) prosecutors and fifty-three (53) support/administrative staff in this prosecutor’s office.
