Gjakovë, May 10, 2024, the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakovë, General Department, announces to the public that against the defendant with the initials A.D., has taken a decision to initiate investigations and has submitted a motion with the Basic Court in Gjakovë, for imposing of the measure of detention on remand for a duration of 30 days.
According to the motion of the Prosecution, among other things, it is stated that there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendant with the initials A.D., from December 2023 until 08.05.2024, in Gjakovë, sexually harasses the injured weak person/minor, in the form of unwanted verbal and non-verbal behavior of a sexual nature with the aim of breaching dignity, in such a way that after the defendant and the victim/minor were introduced through social networks, he sends her messages of a sexual nature, with which harmful actions he breaches her dignity and creates an environment which is objectively intimidating, degrading and humiliating against the same person.
With these actions, the suspicion is established that the defendant has committed the criminal offense, sexual harassment in continuation under Article 10 of Law No. 8/L-188 on Supplementing and Amending the Criminal Code 06/L-074 of the Republic of Kosovo in conjunction with Article 183 par.4 related to par.2, related to article 77 of the CCRK.
