Ferizaj, 30 April 2025 – The Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj informs the public that it has requested the Basic Court in Ferizaj to impose a detention on remand for a period of 30 days against the suspects B.Z. and B.Z., both from the municipality of Peja, on well-grounded suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “Attempted Murder”, as defined by the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the prosecution, there is grounded suspicion that on 26 August 2024, at approximately 23:12, in the village of Greme, municipality of Ferizaj, the suspects initially attempted to force the injured party, B.B., into their black “Audi” vehicle. However, due to the resistance offered, they failed, and the injured party managed to escape. With the intent to take his life, both suspects then fired their weapons at B.B., who managed to jump into the yard of a house. Despite this, the suspects succeeded in hitting him in the abdominal area and in the right leg.
With these actions, the suspects, acting in co-perpetration, committed the criminal offense of “Attempted Murder”, pursuant to Article 172 in conjunction with Articles 28 and 31 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
As of today, 30 April 2025, the suspects have been placed under 48-hour detention by order of the State Prosecutor for the aforementioned criminal offense.
