Ferizaj, August 16, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj informs the public that at approximately 19:30 hours in the village of Bibaj, Ferizaj municipality, an incident occurred in the parking lot of the “Fron Palace” wedding hall, resulting in the death of one individual.
Preliminary information suggests that the suspect in this case is a police officer. By order of the State Prosecutor, the suspect has been detained for a period of 48 hours on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “Aggravated Murder” under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
Investigators from the Regional Police in Ferizaj, in coordination with the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj, Mr. Shukri Jashari, and the duty prosecutor, have attended the scene. The victim’s death was confirmed by the medical team on-site.
