Pristina, December 9, 2024 – After several months of investigations conducted the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment today in the Pristina Basic Court- Special Department, against the defendant D.D., for committing the criminal offenses “Attacking official person” under article 402, paragraph 4, in connection with par. 2 and article 31 of the Criminal Code, as well as for the criminal offense “Participating in a crowd committing a criminal offense and hooliganism” under article 404 par. 1 in connection with article 31 of the Criminal Code.
According to the indictment, on 29.05.2023 the defendant near the premises of the Municipality of Zveçan, in cooperation and coordination with other defendants of Serbian nationality from Kosovo and Serbia, using violence, weapons and other heavy means, attacked and seriously threatened soldiers of the KFOR peacekeeping mission and members of the Kosovo Police, causing bodily injuries and material damage.
The Special Prosecutor has requested the Court to find the defendant guilty and extension of detention to the conclusion of this criminal case.
