Prishtina, 15 April 2025 – The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, has detained today in Mitrovica the suspect M.A.
The same is suspected that with his actions he has committed the criminal offenses: “Alliance for anti-constitutional actions“, from article 127 par.2 related to article 114 par.2 of CCRK; ” Endangering internationally protected persons “ from article 167 par.5 related to article 31; “Participating in the crowd committing criminal offense and hooliganism“, from article 404 par.2 related to article 31, the criminal offense “Attacking official person“, from article 402 par.4 related to article 31, ” Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and analogues ” from article 267 par.1 and ” Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons ” from article 366 par.1 of Code no. 06/L-074 Criminal of the Republic of Kosovo.
After his detention in order to provide evidence and testimonies regarding the actions that the suspect in question has taken, search of his residence has been carried out, during which, as material evidence, the following things have been seized:
- Exhibit D#1 – suspected quantity of narcotic substance (751 grams)
- Exhibit D#2 – foam with suspected narcotic substance (292 grams)
- Exhibit D#3 – metal tray with narcotic substance (207 grams)
- Exhibit D#4 – suspected narcotic substance (small quantity)
- Exhibit D#5 – air rifle
- Exhibit D#6- small scale (suspected to be used for measuring the quantity of narcotic substances)
- 12 (twelve) devices for producing crypto-currencies – Riga (for which further actions are still to be taken by Kosovo Customs and police units from the North Mitrovica police station)
- Exhibit D#7 – Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra mobile phone, with serial number R5CTC1RZGEN, with IMEI number 355898190653889;
The case prosecutor shall, within the legal deadline, propose to the court the security measure for the presence of the defendant in the proceedings.
