Prishtina, August 16, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina informs you that following media reports and complaints filed by citizens with the Kosovo Police, this Prosecution Office, in cooperation with the Police and the Kosovo Tax Administration, conducted an operation on the properties of a business located on the Prishtina-Ferizaj highway, at the fifth kilometer in Llapnasellë, Pristina Municipality, in connection with the criminal offense of “Fraud”, under Article 323, paragraph 5 of the CCRK.
By decision of the State Prosecutor, the individual G.G. has been detained, and as part of this operation, material evidence, including laptops, phones, business documents, and numerous contracts with citizens for the construction of villas, has been seized.
The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina appeals to all citizens who have been harmed by these actions to report to the Kosovo Police or the Prosecution, as the primary goal of the State Prosecutor is the successful fight against crime, ensuring the rule of law, and bringing the perpetrators of criminal offenses to justice.
