Prishtina, January 29, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution Office in Prishtina, informs the public that the Department for Serious Crimes-Unit for Economic Crimes and Corruption, as ordered by the State Prosecutor, has detained persons with the initials D.H. and I.I., officials at the Basic Court in Pristina, because they are suspected of having abused their official duties, more specifically, they are suspected of having committed the criminal offense “Abuse of the official position or authority”, under article 414 of the CCRK.
The Prosecution Office in Prishtina will take further legal actions against the accused, while the Kosovo Police will conduct an appropriate investigation into this criminal case.
