Prishtinë, 21 May 2024– The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina announces to the public opinion that it has requested the appointment of the measure of detention in the competent court, against the defendant B.G., who was detained by order of the prosecutor on May 19, 2024 .
The defendant is suspected that on 19.05.2024, around 00:30, in Graçanica, more specifically in a car wash, in collaboration with a minor (who is on the run), with the purpose of illegal financial gain, they opened by force the car washing machines and from there they took coins worth 500 euros, causing property damage to the victim.
Also, on the same day, the above-mentioned defendant, in collaboration with the minor, in the village of Uglarë, for the same purposes, forcibly opened the ATM that serves for the exchange of money from paper to metal ones, as well as opened all the other cash registers and from there they took money in the amount of 3600 euros, and then they left the scene by taxi.
With these actions, they committed the criminal offense of “Aggravated Theft”, according to CCRK.
Also, the defendant B.G. is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons” and “Unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotropic or similar substances”, according to the CCRK.
