The program for the compensation of crime victims is financed by the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo. The program enables victims of compensable violent crimes to apply for financial compensation for damages as a result of the criminal offense. Compensation from the state can be requested in cases where the victim cannot realize the right to compensation from the defendant or compensation from other sources.
