Prishtinë, 3 December 2024 – The Chairman of the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions, Mr. Jetish Maloku, hosted today in a meeting the international expert, Mr. Benjamin M. Allen, who has extensive experience in projects for the rule of law and international development, as part of the USAID project.
During this meeting, Mr. Maloku informed Mr. Allen about the priorities and challenges facing the prosecutorial system, as well as the achievements that have been made in advancing the rule of law in Kosovo over the past years. He emphasized the continuous efforts of the KPC to improve the efficiency, transparency and strengthening of the prosecutorial system.
At this meeting, the parties discussed possible ways of cooperation between the prosecutorial system and the USAID project, examining the possibilities of providing support to address the needs presented by the system, with the aim of improving reforms in the justice sector. This cooperation is expected to play an important role in strengthening the capacities of the prosecution offices and further advancing the rule of law in Kosovo.
This meeting is an important step in strengthening relations and joint efforts to improve the justice system in the country.
