THE IMPLEMENTATION OF BYLAWS IN THE PROSECUTORIAL SYSTEM IS MONITORED

Prishtinë, 20 September 2022 – In the framework of monitoring the implementation of by-laws and in order to fulfill their work duties, the members of the Commission for Normative Issues, led by Armend Zenelaj, visited the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj and the Basic Prosecution in Gjilan, where they were received by chief prosecutors Shukri Jashari and Arben Kadriu.

Among the main topics of discussion were the aspects of information on the implementation of by-laws in force and the acts that are in the process of being drafted, discussed and approved in the KPC, facilitating access to them, challenges and difficulties in their implementation and eventual proposals for completion and changing normative acts.

Also in this context, the Questionnaire designed for the supervision of the implementation of by-laws has been presented, which will facilitate the work process of the Commission for Normative Issues and will help in fulfilling the tasks related to the supervision of the implementation of by-laws and drafting of the acts foreseen by the Strategy of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council for the year 2022-2024.

The Commission for Normative Issues, based on the Rules of Procedure and within the framework of its work duties, will also conduct other visits to the prosecutions of the country.
