Prishtinë, 27 September 2022 – In the framework of the discussion of technical possibilities for inter-institutional electronic systems interconnection, the Head of the Department of Information Technology in the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Nexhat Haziri, met with the Head of the Investigations Sector in the Customs of Kosovo, Valbonë Ymeri, together with together with those in charge of the electronic systems of this sector.
In this meeting, the discussions focused on the possibility of connecting the Case Information Management System CIMS), which is used in the country’s prosecutors’ offices, and the Kosovo Customs Electronic System (LES), which will enable data to be exchanged in electronically between customs officials and case prosecutors, enabling fast communication and work efficiency.
At the end of this meeting, it was emphasized that the common goals are to realize the electronic exchange of data between both institutions in the near future.
