Mitrovicë, 1 November 2022 – Members of the Supervisory Commission for Corruption and Economic Crimes, led by prosecutor Veton Shabani, visited the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica, where they were received by Chief Prosecutor Ismet Ujkani.
In this meeting, it was said that the treatment of corruption cases and economic crimes is being done with continuous dedication by all the country’s prosecution offices, and concretely this is also being done by the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica.
Also, during the discussions of the members of the Commission with the Chief Prosecutor Ujkani, the need for maximum commitment to the treatment of these cases was emphasized, regardless of the challenges that arise before this prosecution, because the fight against corruption is a major priority and the national interest of the country.
