US, British Embassy and EU Office meet with the Evaluation Panel for the scoring of candidates for the position of Chief State Prosecutor

Pristina, 28 February 2022 – The evaluation panel for scoring candidates for the position of Chief State Prosecutor held a joint meeting with representatives of the US Embassy, the British Embassy and the EU Office in Kosovo, where they discussed the process of electing the Chief State Prosecutor.

The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, at the same time the Chairman of the Panel, Jetish Maloku, thanked the US Embassy, the British Embassy and the EU Office in Kosovo for the assistance provided so far and for what they can provide in the continuation of the election process of the Chief State Prosecutor said that the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is very interested in having a more transparent and reliable process, so he called on the above-mentioned partners, in addition to monitoring, in this important process to help with advice, opinions and their experience.

As it is known, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, in the 208th meeting in a row, has announced the Competition for the election of the Chief State Prosecutor and in the same meeting has established the Evaluation Panel for the scoring of candidates for Chief State Prosecutor. Members of this panel, in addition to the Chairman of the Council, Jetish Maloku, who, ex officio, is a member and chairman of the panel, through a lot were selected members of the KPC: Ariana Shajkovci, Bedrije Syla-Alshiqi, Armend Zenelaj and Jovo Radovic.
