A two-day workshop is held to increase efficiency in the implementation of CMIS

Gjilan, 16 November 2022 – The Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions, in cooperation and with financial support from the EUKOJUST Project, is holding a two-day workshop related to the findings of the monitoring reports of the implementation of the Cases Management Information System  (CMIS).

At the opening of this workshop, the Chairman of the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions, prosecutor Veton Shabani, said that the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is continuously committed to work through its own bodies to create the best possible working conditions for all prosecutors and staff in the prosecutorial system.

Further, he said that the need for this workshop has come to light as a result of monitoring the implementation of CMIS in the prosecutor’s office, where some deficiencies have been identified, so I believe that during this workshop we will be able to improve those deficiencies and to have the best possible functioning of CMIS.

In this workshop, in addition to the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions and representatives of the EUKOJUST project, representatives of the EU Office in Kosovo, the Council of Europe, chief prosecutors, prosecutors and other actors, whose work is related to the implementation of CMIS.
