Prishtinë, 6 December – The Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions, led by prosecutor Veton Shabani, held its next meeting.
In this meeting, it was discussed how to register cases of incitement to hatred and LGBTI. Steps to be taken to ensure that statistical reporting is accurate and up-to-date are discussed. In the meeting, it was said that with the full functioning of CMIS, this issue related to these criminal offenses as well as other offenses will be fully regulated.
At this meeting, the “Report with Recommendations for Improving the Collection and Analysis of Statistics to Monitor the Work and Performance of Prosecutor’s Offices” was discussed. This report was drawn up based on the methodology of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) from the project “Strengthening the Quality and Efficiency of Justice – KoSEJ II Project of the Council of Europe. At the end of this meeting, it was agreed that representatives of the Commission, KPCS and PPRU hold a meeting with the experts of the KoSEJ II project to discuss the findings and recommendations of the said report.
