Pristina, April 17, 2025 – The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), in cooperation and funding from the German Government through GIZ, has organized a two-day workshop, attended by the member of the KPC, Prof. Ass . Dr. Dardan Vuniqi, the General Director of the KPCS, Sami Istrefi, the Manager of the OPAV Burhan Maxhuni, the Rule of Law Advisor – GIZ representative, Fjolla Kolshi, the Head of the IT Department at the KPCS, Nexhat Haziri and heads of organizational units and officials of the administration and OPAV.
The purpose of holding this workshop is to strengthen the management skills of participants to effectively lead and manage regional offices and the Electronic Case Management System in the OPAV.
On this occasion, the Director General of the KPCS, Sami Istrefi, highlighted the importance of strategic management for the provision of services and the provision of practical and technical knowledge for the implementation and efficient use of the electronic case management system (ECMS), with the aim of increasing transparency, efficiency and oversight of work in the framework of the protection and provision of assistance to victims of crime.
Today’s session also addressed issues of regional office management and the principles of their effective leadership, while workshop participants had the opportunity to discuss the current functioning of these offices, improving communication, developing strategies, and making appropriate decisions.
Meanwhile, tomorrow, as part of this workshop, the Electronic Case Management System is expected to be presented.
