Indictment against a person for the criminal offense of rape
Gjakovë, 21 October 2021 – The Basic Prosecution in Gjakova, Department for Serious Crimes, has filed an indictment against the defendant K.N., due to the criminal offense "Rape", under Article 227, paragraph 4, Article 4.8, in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Prosecution announces that, on August 30, 2021, in the Municipality of Gjakova, specifically in his house, the defendant K.N., forced the other person, the minor injured E.A., to perform a sexual act without her consent.
The injured party, although she had not refused to go with the defendant to his house, was under the influence of alcohol, where she had previously consumed in a bar, where she had been introduced to the defendant. After clearing herself of alcohol, he noticed himself naked in the lower part of his body, and also noticed the injuries, described according to the forensic clinical examination report.
The prosecutor of the case proposed to the competent Court that the defendant K.N. be punished according to the law for the criminal offense which he is charged with.
