Indictment for organizing and participating in a terrorist group
Prishtinë, February 19, 2020 - The Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment by the Basic Court in Pristina - Special Department, against the defendant H.K. for the offense of "Organizing and participating in a terrorist group" under article 143 par. 2 of the CCRK, article 3 of Law No. 05 / L-002, Prohibition of Joining Armed Conflicts Outside the Country.
According to the Special Prosecution, the defendant H.K. in order to participate in the activities of the terrorist groups "ISIS" and "AL Nusra" in Syria, in early 2014, acting intentionally and aware of its actions, has departed from Prishtina towards Istanbul and further to Syria, where she joined to her husband A.A who was already active within the "ISIS" terrorist group, and has remained there after her husband's death, where she received regular pay from the ISIS terrorist organization.
After the death of her husband, however, she remarried to another ISIS member, R.H. and during all this time after analyzing telephone conversations and SMS, it is understood that she continued to volunteer there, where she found propaganda material in the form of video footage of ISIS terrorist attacks.
By these actions the defendant H.K. has committed the offense of "Organizing and participating in a Terrorist Group", pursuant to article 143 par. 2 of the CCRK, article 3 of the Law No.05 / L-002, Prohibition of Joining Armed Conflicts Outside the Country.
