Indictment for organizing and participating in a terrorist group
Prishtinë, January 20, 2020 – The Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo has filed indictment by the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against V.B., for the offense of "Organizing and participating in a terrorist group", from article 143 par. 2 of the CCRK.
The Special Prosecution Office reports that the defendant V.B. intent on joining terrorist groups "ISIS" and "AL-Nusra" in Syria and Iraq, on 26.09.2014 acting intentionally and aware of her actions, left Kosovo, crossing the Hani i Elez border went to Skopje - North Macedonia, using Kosovo passports, along with her two children and her husband.
From Skopje Airport they traveled to Istanbul and then to Syria, where after joining a terrorist group, her husband E. H was killed in Syria on 30.04.2015, and the defendant remained there until deported to Kosovo on 20.04.2019
With these actions the defendant V.B. has committed the offense of "Organizing and participating in a terrorist group", from article 143 par. 2 of the CCRK.
