There is signed the Memorandum of Understanding between KPC, KJC, KP, and ECAP, regarding elections of 2013
Prishtina, 18 September 2013 – Today was signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Kosovo Judicial Council, Central Election Commission, Kosovo Police and Elections Complaints and Appeals Panel.
The purpose behind signing of this Memorandum is increasing the cooperation and coordination between the above mentioned Institutions, for undertaking needed activities to fight successfully, including prevention of all those who contradict the provisions of the Law into force concerning the criminal offences related to the voting rights.
The Memorandum is signed by the Chairman of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Ismet Kabashi, Head of Kosovo Judicial Council, Mr. Enver Peci, President of Central Election Commission, Ms. Valdete Daka, representative of Kosovo Police, Mr. Naim Rexha, and also Chairman of the Elections Complaints and Appeals Panel, Mr. Shukri Sylejmani.
Signatories have committed themselves that within the competencies and responsibilities will be undertaken measures and activities for preventing and fighting the abuse that might happen in the local elections of 3rd of November, 2013.
This Memorandum enters into force from today, whereas it ceases to be applied at the moment when all cases in front of court are resolved upon the executive Judgments and execution of Decisions.
