A person is arrested for defrauding citizens worth around 2 million euros
Mitrovicë, 19 Mars 2024 – The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica informs the public that the suspect with the initials J.M. has been arrested with the suspicion that in different periods from 2021 to July 2023, he has deceived various citizens, with the aim of obtaining financial benefit for himself, and it is suspected that the value of the benefit is about 2 million euros.
With these actions, the suspect committed the criminal offense "Fraud" from Article 323 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The suspect, by the prosecutor's decision, is detained for 48 hours, and within the legal deadline, the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica will submit a request for the appointment of a security measure - a detention measure.
