Detention is required for the suspect for aggravated theft
Mitrovicë, 08 March 2024 – The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica, General Department, , has submitted a request for the appointment of detention for the defendant A.V., at the Basic Court in Mitrovica - Skenderaj Branch as there is a well-founded suspicion that he helped commit the criminal offense "Aggravated Theft".
The defendant A.V. is suspected of sending the stolen tractor in the village of Tërnac in Skenderaj to Serbia on February 18, 2024, together with the defendant I.K.
For this case, on March 05, the defendants P.S. and V.K. were detained, for the same on March 06, the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica submitted a request for detention, and the above-mentioned defendants were assigned a detention measure of 30 days, while other suspects are also on the run.
The hearing for determining the measure of detention against the defendant A.V. is expected to be held today, Friday, at the Basic Court in Mitrovica - Skenderaj Branch.
