Suspects for the attack on the policemen in Skenderaj are wanted in detention on remand
Mitrovica, July 4, 2022 - The Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica - the Department of Serious Crimes, has filed an application, before the Basic Court in Mitrovica, to impose detention on remand for the suspects F.L. and A.L., due to the well-founded suspicion that they have committed the criminal offenses “Assault on the person official”, “Use of weapon as dangerous instrument”, as well as “Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons”.
There is a well-founded suspicion that the suspects F.L., A.L., and N.L., on July 2, 2022 at around 23:45 hours in Skenderaj, attacked two police officers of the Police Station in Skenderaj with the initials E.B. and M.G., who were on official duty, and as result of the attack police officers ended up in injuries, and one police officer was hit by a bullet in the foot.
At the same time, after collecting sufficient evidence for this case, the prosecutor on call of the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica has issued a detention order for the suspect N.L., but he has not yet been found by the police and is still wanted. As soon as he is arrested, an application will be submitted to impose the measure of detention on remand due to the aforementioned criminal offenses.
