The Regulation on case management through the electronic system in the prosecutorial system is finalized
Prishtinë, 8 December 2021 – The Commission for Normative Issues of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, chaired by Prosecutor Armend Zenelaj, held its next meeting, in which case it worked on finalizing the Regulation on case management through the electronic system in the prosecutorial system.
The focus of this meeting was the discussion on a number of procedural issues, including administration, management, access rights, data retrieval in CMIS, communication with the parties in the procedure, receipt, registration and distribution of cases and other aspects which are dedicated to the best functioning of the work processes in the prosecutorial system.
The participants of the meeting said that this draft regulation is one of the pillars of reforms in the prosecutorial system due to the digitalization of the work of prosecution offices, which aims to increase work efficiency and enable a better management of resources overall.
This was the final meeting of the Commission for Normative Issues for the finalization of the above regulation, which after the review will be sent for review and approval in one of the next meetings of the Prosecutorial Council.
