The draft Regulation on the election and termination of the mandate of the General Director of the KPCS and the Director of the PPRU is finalized
Prishtinë, 2 December 2021 – The focus of today's meeting of the Committee on Normative Issues of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, which was chaired by Prosecutor Armend Zenelaj, was the finalization of the draft Regulation on the election and termination of the mandate of the General Director of the KPCS and the Director of the PPRU.
The members of this Committee, the international partners and the representatives of the civil society, who provided continuous support through their comments, reviewed the procedural issues of this important normative act of the KPC, which clarify the issues of selection, evaluation and termination of the mandate of the General Director of the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and the Director of the Prosecutors Performance Review Unit.
This was the final meeting of the Committee for Normative Issues for the finalization of the above regulation, which after the review will be sent for review and approval in one of the next meetings of the Prosecutorial Council.
