The Prosecution in Gjakova detains four suspects and confiscates 5 kilograms and 571 grams of suspected narcotic substance of the type "Marijuana"
Gjakovë, 26 October 2021 – On October 25, 2021, the Kosovo Police, Unit for Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking in Gjakova, at the request of the State Prosecutor and by order of the Basic Court in Gjakova, conducted raids on the houses and facilities of suspects EI, JI, EI, and Rr. Sh, in the village of Stubëlll, Municipality of Gjakova, on suspicion that suspected narcotic substances of marijuana type are found in their homes.
During the raid the followings were found and seized:
- Suspected narcotic substance of marijuana type, weighing 5 kilograms and 571 grams,
- One (1) hunting rifle
- Five (5) cartridges
- One (1) hand grenade
By order of the prosecutor of the case, the suspects are detained for a period of 48 hours, under the grounded suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic substances or analogues", and "Illegal possession of weapons”.
