The support of the United Kingdom Embassy for the prosecutorial system is appreciated
Prishtina, 14 April 2021 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, received Jennifer Blakeney, Head of the Rule of Law and Security Sector at the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Kosovo.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the support of the Embassy of the United Kingdom for the prosecutorial system of Kosovo.
During the meeting was discussed about the rule of law in Kosovo, the challenges of the justice system in general, with special emphasis on the activities and work of the Kosovo prosecutorial system in strengthening and increasing the efficiency of the justice system.
On this occasion, Chairman Maloku thanked the Embassy of the United Kingdom for his continued commitment and support to the prosecutorial system. He said that the UK projects that have been implemented and those that are being implemented are having a major impact on strengthening professional capacity in the Kosovo prosecutorial system.
On the other hand, Mrs. Jennifer Blakeney, said that the Embassy of the United Kingdom remains committed to supporting the Kosovo prosecutorial system in order to strengthen the justice system in general in Kosovo.
At the end of the meeting, the two interlocutors expressed their readiness and willingness to continue and deepen cooperation through regular meetings and the implementation of joint activities.
