Ombudsperson Qelaj received in a meeting Chairman Maloku
Prishtina, March 17, 2021 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku and the Kosovo Judicial Council, Chairman Skënder Çoçaj, were received in a meeting by the Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj.
The topic of discussion at this meeting was the Law on Disciplinary Liabilities of Judges and Prosecutors, in which case the interlocutors stressed that it has further advanced the aspect of accountability of judges and prosecutors.
In the meeting, they also discussed the role that the Law on Disciplinary Liabilities of Judges and Prosecutors sets out for Ombudsperson, as well as what is the status of the Ombudsperson, related to alleged violations against judges and prosecutors.
