The implementation of joint activities between the KPC and the EU Office in Pristina is discussed

Prishtina, 15 February 2021 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, held an online meeting with the representative of the European Union Office in Prishtina, Agatha Bouten.

Initially, the Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, thanked the representative of the EU Office in Pristina for the systematic and comprehensive contribution given to the prosecutorial system, a contribution which is of particular importance and aims to facilitate the work and functioning of the Prosecutorial Council as practical as possible.

On the other hand, the representative of the EU Office, Agatha Bouten, since this was the first meeting with Chairman Maloku wished him the task of Chairman, wishing him success, in which case she stressed the need to coordinate joint activities that are scheduled to take place this year between the KPC and the EU Office in Pristina, in order to advance the rule of law in Kosovo. 

Also, in this meeting the interlocutors expressed their commitment to further cooperation in the field of prosecutorial system, in particular regarding the issue of professional drafting of bylaws and supporting the work of KPC committees.
