Presentation of CMIS (SMIL) Project Report for January-June 2019
Pristina, July 30, 2019 - Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Bahri Hyseni, attended the Meeting of the Management Board of the Case Management Information System (CMIS) Project, attended by the Chairman of the Judicial Council, Skender Çoçaj and the General Directors of the secretariats of the two Councils.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the activities and achievements during the implementation of the Case Management Information System Project, as well as the challenges during the six-month period January-June 2019 in the courts and prosecution offices of the Republic of Kosovo.
In the meeting were discussed the realized parameters of registering old cases in each region, then providing support and training on the use of CMIS, as well as preparations being made to remove registers, capacity building of information technology officials and approval of acts on the use of CMIS in courts and prosecutions.
Consequently, at the conclusion of the meeting, the members of the Management Board of the Case Management Information System (CMIS) project expressed their satisfaction with the trends of implementation of this system, demanding greater concentration and acceleration of the work process for the registration of old cases and removal of manual registers.
