Indictment for sale and distribution of narcotics and unauthorized weapons possession
Ferizaj, March 05, 2020 - The Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj, Serious Crimes Department, has filed an indictment against three (3) defendants, with initials H.B., SH.B., and K.B., from Ferizaj, on a grounded suspicion that they have committed the criminal offenses of “Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and analogues” under Article 267 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 275 paragraph 1 subparagraph 1.1, and “Unauthorized Ownership, Control or Possession weapons” under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (CCRK).
According to the indictment, the defendants, from February 12, 2019 to December 23, 2019, acting as members of the group, were selling unauthorized narcotics type marijuana and cocaine, during who during undercover technical surveillance and investigative measures, as well as during a search conducted by the Anti-Drug Unit, two bags of marijuana, weighing 111.7 grams, a cocaine bag weighing 1.72 grams, two digital scales, two grinding mills, and 36 small nylon bags were found and seized at their home, which served them to pack narcotics into small bags to sell to different persons.
Whereas, the defendant Sh.B., in his house, in violation of the law on weapons, in unauthorized way possession of a revolver of the type "ZORAKI M908", a magazine with a 7.65mm bullets, twenty-one 9mm caliber bullets , one 1421389 of 8 mm caliber and three bullets, in which case they were seized by the police.
In these actions, the defendants met the elements of the criminal offenses described above.
The case prosecutor, upon having filed the indictment, proposed to the Court that the defendants are to be found guilty and convicted under the law, due to criminal offenses that they are charged with.
