Special Prosecution has filed indictment for Organized Crime
Prishtina, 20th of May 2016 –Today, Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosova, has filed indictment against the defendant G.R., charged for committing criminal offense ‘Organized Crime’.
As per indictment, the defendant G. R., is accused of being organizer and supervisor of an organized criminal group, who while staying in Switzerland has directed activities of this group, by providing heroin deliveries from Kosova for the Swiss market, and has organized its transport in the secret vehicles` compartments.
Other members of this criminal group in the previous years have been found Guilty of committing this criminal offense and they were trialled, whereas the defendant G. R., was wanted by Justice and Law Enforcement Authorities since 2010, and he was extradited to Kosova on 29th of April 2016.
Defendant G.R., is accused of committing criminal offense ‘Organized Crime’, as stipulated by Article 274, paragraph 3 in conjunction with criminal offense ‘Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and analogues’, as stipulated by Article 229, paragraph 4, sub-paragraph 1 in conjunction with paragraph 2 of the CCK.
