VISITS OF THE CHAIRMAN ISUFAJ THROUGHOT PROSECUTIONS CARRY ON TO BE IN PLACE, AND TODAY HE HAS VISITED GJILAN AND FERIZAJ
Gjilan-Ferizaj, 10th of June 2016 – Visits of the Chairman of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Blerim Isufaj, throughout Prosecutions, carry on to be in place. He, accompanied by the Director of the Secretariat, Lavdim Krasniqi, today has visited the Basic Prosecution of Gjilan and Ferizaj, in which occasion he has met with Chief Prosecutors, Prosecutors and staff of those Prosecutions.
Chairman Isufaj during the visits conducted in the Basic Prosecution of Gjilan and Ferizaj, was closely briefed regarding the work being done in those two Prosecutions, as well as challenges they face during their work.
In those meeting there were discussions about the application possibilities throughout all Kosova Prosecutions, of the working model of the Basic Prosecution of Gjilan, which applies the working model “one Prosecutor per one Judge”.
During those visits, KPC Chairman has stated that the Council together with State Prosecutor are working in identification of the Prosecutions` needs, for the purposes of capacities building throughout all Prosecutions.
Visits of Chairman Isufaj throughout Kosova Prosecutions will carry on taking place in the following days as well, whereas, following the Prosecutions` needs identification, Kosovo Prosecutorial Council will bring the Decision on responding to findings` fulfilment throughout Prosecutions.
