The drafting of the Regulation on Election of Chief State Prosecutor and Chief Prosecutors is continuing
Pristina, June 10, 2019 - The chairman of the Committee for Normative Issues, the prosecutor Zejnullah Gashi and the head of the Legal Office at the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Valdrin Krasniqi, met with representatives of the US Embassy in Kosovo, where they worked on drafting of the Regulation on the Appointment of Chief State Prosecutor and Chief Prosecutors of Prosecution offices.
In the course of the commitments to draft this regulation, the forms of applications, concept papers, self-assessments and other acts that will be part of the regulation are discussed.
Also in this meeting was assessed the great support and contribution of international partners, in particular the US Embassy in Kosovo, for the drafting of the Regulation on the appointment of the Chief State Prosecutor and Chief Prosecutors of the Prosecution Offices.
The Committee on Normative Affairs is continuously engaged in completing the drafting of the Regulation on the appointment of Chief Prosecutors and submitting it to the Council for approval.
